Hey all -
Last week, I was contacted by the arthrogryposis group about 2 vaccant board positions. They were taking nominations to fill these positions and said I had been nominated and asked would I serve on the board if I were voted in.
There were 8 nominations and most of these people have known each other for months upon months while I am a relative new member. I never dreamed enough people even knew my name for consideration much less anyone would vote me in.
Well, I was voted in! This wasn't something I went looking for; however, I feel God has sent this to me. I do feel this is God's Will. I am excited about this new venture as I have always felt a pull towards charity work, and I look forward to putting that energy into something near and dear to me as Arthrogryposis. I am passionate about spreading awareness for arthrogryposis, and have been working with a gentlemen at the March of Dimes for some time now -- Thanks Vi!
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions for me, please send them my way!
Family members and friends are invited to check up on the daily happenings of The Carleton Crew! Enjoy!

Our First Game
36-16
Bittersweet.
Cole had an awesome game! He score one of two touchdowns, and score both of our 2 point conversions. I was a proud mama.
I was a worried mama because he played the entire game. And I mean ENTIRE. He is our Kicker, our blue offense running back, our white offense quarterback, as well as plays defense and kick-off return. WOW! He got one break when he twisted his ankle -- only one play. He needs more rest than that! I tried talking to his Coach! HA! You would think I would get a say so being married to him, but no! That just put me farther down on the list with my complaints!
I was a sad mama because we lost. Those little guys played their hearts out and deserved to WIN! They had more first downs, more offense time, etc. But along with that, they had more mistakes.
The cheerleaders were phenominal. They pooped out on us towards the end of 4th quarter. It was an eight o'clock game, and they were tired! Kadi was a great little mascot! She looked really cute. I will post pictures soon!
So.....til next week
