Boo

The Spooks Come out at Night!
We had a great Halloween this year! I think this was the first year that we haven't all gone to a costume party -- or two, but we were busy enough. We received our first "BOO" on the 20th, after our football carnival. The kids really enjoyed making treats and their list to "boo" to reciprocate the fun. Of course, they can't keep the secret, so everyone ends up knowing who boo'd who, which is totally against the rules. Oh well. Shelby and Patrick were so cute when they guessed that it might be us. Cute, cute kids! So they go trick or treating Halloween night as Bloody the clown, Miss Independant Jail bird, and the spit fire devil. What a mix! As always, they come home and dump all their candy into one big pile, throwing wrappers where ever they may fall, and running to the door to great the other trick or treaters! Enjoy the candy, kids! Dentist appointments are soon!

Of course, it wasn't what we had hoped for, but the kids sure had a lot of fun! Cole had a great season, playing running back, full back, quarter back, and defense. He truly was a star! My star! He really showed his athletic ability and his desire to play football this season. Kerri had a great season as well. She made a lot of new friends and really enjoyed cheering. Kadi -- well, she liked being mascot when it was a cheer she liked; otherwise, you could find her under the bleachers playing pokemon with her friend, Drew.

Spirit week was a blast! The kids enjoyed an ice cream social and pinata the first of the week. Wednesday (the normal rest day), several of the boys used their free day to work hard to learn routines for Thursday pep rally. They dressed in cheer skirts tops, complete with wigs, and performed a cheer, dance routine, and stunt as they imitated the Cub (our opponant) cheerleaders. On Friday, they enjoyed dressing the coaches in toilet paper, wigs, and lipstick before they left to toilet paper each other's yards. They are still talking about all the fun!

They had lots of fans in the stands this season! Thanks for checking out the schedule online and coming! It makes them feel so special! Nana, Granda and Granpa all came to a couple of games, while Aunt Linda and Aunt Vi came also! We also had some dear friends that took time out to come watch them. Thanks!

Here are some pics for you to enjoy! Look close, you can see Aunt Linda and Aunt Vi in the background of the "please carry my bag" pic! Enjoy!
